We’re looking for a Sustainability Data Business Analyst to support a variety of clients and projects with an initial focus on market research and completive analysis of sustainability data software. Your title and compensation will be commensurate with your experience and skill sets.
Responsibilities

Independently perform market research on the sustainability reporting software industry

Independently perform competitive analysis e.g., quantify market penetration, target customer types

Partner with colleagues to lead the evaluation of data software

Manage relationships with data software company partners

Drive the scheduling and program management of data software company partnerships

Distill findings into clear, concise narratives for general audiences

Communicate and partner effectively with technical and non-data folks equally

Be your own project manager

Hard Skills

Experience working with a data software solution required

Experience working in software development ideal

Robust familiarity with sustainability data required

Experience or certification in an ESG reporting methodology preferred - such as Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Experience working with ESG scores or ratings ratings ideal

Amount of money you paid a higher education establishment for a degree not relevant, but be able to show some sort of 3rd party validation of your skills
