Nómadas performs a variety of functions at various points along the lifecycle of data in an organization. In the sustainability space, we cover the collection, enrichment, storage, reporting, and analysis of data ranging from user behavior, subscriber data, marketing to occupational health and safety, emissions, carbon accounting, farmer income, financial, market and regulatory data.

We’re looking for an ESG Reporting Analyst to support a variety of clients and projects. You’ll likely be partnered on client projects with 1 or 2 other peers at a time. Your title and compensation will be commensurate with your experience and skill sets.


 

Responsibilities

​

  • Partner with clients to analyze which ESG reporting components are material to their business and stakeholders

  • Benchmark clients ESG scores, ratings, and communications against their peers and competitors

  • Liaise between or partner with client and the ESG score or ratings agency

  • Write complete ESG reports in accordance with industry leading reporting frameworks

  • Identify gaps in datasets and drive the sourcing of missing pieces

  • Distill findings into clear, concise narratives for general audiences

  • Distill findings into relevant, specific recommendations for clients

  • Utilize a moderate degree of data visualization skills in order to illustrate findings

  • Communicate and partner effectively with technical and non-data folks equally

  • Be your own project manager

  • Stay abreast of the latest local and global ESG disclosure legislation

  • Stay abreast of change within variety of ESG reporting frameworks and agency ratings and scores

 

Soft Skills

  • Superb written communication skills

  • Experience working directly with clients or at an agency

  • Comfortability customizing work style based on client needs and org size

  • Ability to gingerly disagree with a client and redirect energy to a productive path

  • Work independently in self-managed pace with cadence of status updates

  • Provide custom recommendations and solutions alongside static information

  • Inherently prioritize getting the message across over appearing intelligent

  • Prefer to collaborate and build up others over feeding self ego

 

Hard Skills

​

  • Expertise in at least two of the following ESG reporting frameworks or recommendation methodologies: Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), and UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

  • Familiarity with a handful of ESG scores and rating indices such as MSCI, S&P, Sustainalytics, Dow Jones Sustainability Index, Bloomberg ESG Data Services

  • Relevant degrees and/or professional credentials such as Environmental Science or ISSP SEA or SEP, a plus

  • 2-3 years of experience in sustainability role ideal

  • 3-5 years of experience in a data-driven role ideal

  • Amount of money you paid a higher education establishment for a degree not relevant, but be able to show some sort of 3rd party validation of your skills
